Hi all! Thank you to those that attended our last general meeting on January 23rd. We have lots of exciting events coming up, and we could use your help. We were able to get a few sign-ups for the Golden Acorn committee. However, we do still need help with the following committees:
 
●   Nomination
●   Scholastic Bookfair
●   Popcorn Fridays
●   End of the Year Bash

Here is a little bit about each committee:
 
Nomination: This committee finds those individuals that are interested in joining the PTA board next year. With the boundary change, there will be new faces at our school. We want to give those who want to join the opportunity. 
 
Scholastic Bookfair: We are so excited to be able to offer the bookfair in person this year. It will be during the parent/teacher conferences the last week of Feb. We could use help planning the event and help during the event.
 
Popcorn Fridays: We offer popcorn twice a month (every other Friday). Help is needed in the morning from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Bagging and sealing the bags and putting them in delivery crates so the students can hand them out.
 
End of the Year: We are currently looking for individuals to help plan the end-of-year party for the students. This year’s theme will be a Western Carnival. We would love to start the planning even though it’s a few months away.
